The one and only Ivan

I just finished a truly amazing book. It's called the one and only Ivan, by Katherine Applegate. It's the story of a silverback Gorilla named Ivan who lives in a cage in a mall. He was taken away from his home in the jungle as a child, like his friend Stella the elephant. A stray dog, Bob, lives in his cage. But when a baby elephant named Ruby comes, things quickly change for Ivan. A truly amazing story, great for all ages. Whether you are a fantasy lover or realistic type, I promise you will love this book.

Max's recommendation

Today I'm letting my younger brother, Max, talk about the book he's reading- some of you may know it as... The LORD OF THE RINGS! Right now, Max is reading the Fellowship of the Ring, which I..erm.. haven't read. So, here he is, MAX!!!!!!! *applause*  Well, Yvette it's called The Fellowship of the ring and I like it because...       Because...        Well I don't know but it's a exciting, intense, action-packed series takes fantasy to the real world for me. I strongly recommend it! I'll be reading the next book after I finish this one!

Book review no.1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the Battle of the Labyrinth

Phweeeeeeeet! Book, report! Sir,yes, sir! Today I am reading the Battle of the Labyrinth, book four in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Summary: When Percy has his new school set on fire, he knows this summer won't be peaceful. Not even the safe haven of camp half blood is safe from the oncoming Titan threat. And when an entrance to the great labyrinth is discovered in the camp, not even the gods can stop Percy from going in. The best book in the series, by my opinion. A great read!
